If the universe is infinite and anything not imposssible happens than is Darth Vader somewhere out there?
Any thing not impossible according to laws of physics will happen for sure and is sure to happen infinite amount of times if the universe itself is infinite. There should be doubles of me, and the whole earth. So there theoretically should be Darth Vader walking around. The closest one should be googol ^ googol (10 to the 100 power to the 10 to the 100 power) light years away of course.
Can anyone help me out on this one please?
What do you mean, “out there?” Don’t you hear that heavy breathing? Better check the closets!
Seriously, the question (famously first posed to Sir Isaac Newton by Czar Petr I of Russia) as to whether the universe is infinite or finite, can best be answered through the modern mathematical discipline of topology.
Because space is curved, the topological outlook on curvature can show the way. Topological exercises can show that a physical object (for example, the universe) can be both physically present and infinite at the same time.
For studies and examples, run an internet search on “topology” or on “klein bottle.” The Klein Bottle is a wonderful exercise that shows a 3-dimensional model of a multi-dimensional object that, if properly visualized, can be both inside itself and outside itself at the same time.
